Onboarding

◙ It is the process of connecting newly appointed personnel with a company or institute. HR has an important role in this, which gives new employees information about the organization's history, culture, workplace practices, timeliness and expectations, including all other essentials.

◙ This is an early, but important opportunity for both new workers and the company to socialize. This helps the worker ensure a good start in his new company, as it also gives him an opportunity to ask questions about his new job and company.
